Rock Towne Bindery
Traditional editions of Holy Scripture, carefully prepared for reading, study, devotion, and collecting.
Our publishing programme begins with Evangelia Quattuor — The Four Gospels in Latin, followed by four planned editions of the Holy Bible.
The four Bible editions:
Biblia Sacra Latina — Clementine Vulgate
Biblia Sacra Latina–Anglica — Latin Vulgate / Douay–Rheims
The Holy Bible — Douay–Rheims — Challoner revision
The Holy Bible — King James Version — Authorized Version
Our first publication is planned to be The Four Gospels in Latin, allowing us to establish the printing, typography, and binding standards for the complete collection.
Each edition will be developed with an emphasis on traditional presentation, readability, and lasting quality.
THREE EDITIONS. ONE ENDURING TEXT.
Rock Towne Bindery intends to offer its publications in a range of carefully selected bindings and finishes, from affordable reading editions to traditional library volumes and premium collector editions.
Our forthcoming Evangelia Quattuor — The Four Gospels in Latin will introduce three planned binding grades: Reader's Edition, Library Edition, and Collector's Edition.
The elaborate leatherwork, decorative tooling, and gilded finishes featured in our promotional imagery represent the character of our premium editions. More accessible bindings will also be offered, allowing readers and collectors to choose an edition that suits their needs and budget.
Final designs, specifications, and pricing will be announced before preorders open.
