The Takeover Just Got Personal!

WHAT IS ANT CARTELS?

Ant Cartels is a cooperative story-driven dungeon crawler for 1-4 players set in a hidden insect underworld of crime syndicates, ancient tunnels, and dangerous secrets.

Players take the roles of five powerful cartel bosses forced into an uneasy alliance after a violent takeover by the ruthless Don Ráfaga and his new cartel, La Toma.

As the city spirals into chaos, the bosses must fight through an abandoned city, secret laboratories, underground rail networks, and ancient tunnels to uncover the truth behind a deadly bio-weapon spreading through the underworld.

Every mission is built from large illustrated location tiles and played through cinematic scenarios filled with enemies, strange creatures, and unexpected twists.

Simple d12 combat, powerful ability cards, and unique cartel characters create fast, tactical gameplay where every decision matters.

But beneath the gang wars lies a much larger mystery — a secret tied to ancient civilizations, forbidden research, and a virus that could change the insect world forever.

Form your cartel alliance.

Fight through the underworld.

Discover the truth before it spreads.

Don Ráfaga

Alex Daguerro Vex

La Toma

He didn’t ask for permission.

He didn’t negotiate.

He arrived like a storm.

Don Ráfaga built La Toma on speed, precision, and ruthless ambition. His crews move like a single mind — fast, coordinated, and terrifyingly efficient.

Some say he’s planning something bigger than a cartel war.

Others say the war already started.

Either way…

When Ráfaga arrives, it's too late to react.

HOW THE GAME WORKS

Each session of Ant Cartels is a mission in a larger campaign.  Players choose a cartel and deploy their forces into the underground tunnel network.  As the mission unfolds, new tunnels are revealed, enemies appear, and the situation escalates.  Every mission becomes a struggle for survival and control.

Players must:

• Explore tunnel systems

• Fight hostile enemies

• Secure territory

• Complete mission objectives

The underground never stays quiet for long.

El Zoo

Casimiro Tiovar

Self-Defence Forces of Archaeologists

Nobody knows what El Zoo has seen in the deep tunnels.

Ancient ruins.

Forgotten species.

Things that should not exist anymore.

An explorer, collector, and brilliant strategist, El Zoo is the one who brought the rival cartels together.

Not for power.

For survival.

Because he knows something the others don’t.

Something is waking up underground.

DEVELOPMENT IN PROGRESS

Ant Cartels is currently in active development.

Artwork, factions, and story elements are being created as we prepare the first playable prototype. The goal of this crowdfunding campaign is to complete production-ready game components and move toward full playtesting and manufacturing.

Your support will help bring this underground world to life.

Don Mal

Mario Soléon

Red Bloque

There was a time when every cartel in the underworld feared one name.

Mario Soléon forged Red Bloque in expansion, invasion, and controlled destruction. His name carried weight across borders, a symbol of momentum and force.

But war leaves marks.

Now they call him Don Mal — a title spoken quietly. His mind burns with visions and memory, yet his resolve has not faded.

When he makes his final stand, it will not be half-measured.

It will be absolute.

EVERY CARTEL PLAYS DIFFERENT

  • La Toma moves fast and strikes hard.
  • Los Leafcutters overwhelm enemies with sheer numbers.
  • Red Bloque dominates territory block by block.
  • Atratus Syndicate deploys disciplined tactical operations.
  • The Archaeologist Forces control ruins and hidden infrastructure.
  • Nylandor Chemical spreads silent industrial power.
  • No two cartels fight the same way.

Each cartel brings a completely different strategy to the table.

Dona Clara

Clara Attin

La Matriarca

Los Leafcutters

Where others build empires with guns, Doña Clara builds them with patience.

Her followers call her La Matriarca, the living heart of the jungle colonies.

Under her rule, the Leafcutters grow vast fungal gardens that feed entire civilizations.

But Clara is not naïve.

She knows the jungle is full of predators.

And when predators threaten her people…

The jungle fights back.

EXPLORE THE UNDERGROUND

The world of Ant Cartels is built from expanding tunnel networks.

Each mission reveals new chambers, hidden infrastructure, abandoned systems, cartel strongholds, and ancient insect territories buried deep below. The map grows as players explore.

And what lives deeper underground may not be friendly.

Don Bajada

Oscar Cefalix

Atratus Syndicate

Don Bajada doesn’t rush.

He studies.

He calculates.

Then he drops the hammer.

Leader of the Atratus Syndicate, Bajada commands elite tactical crews that strike with surgical precision.

His operations are disciplined, organized, and devastatingly effective.

He believes every empire falls eventually.

His job is simply to decide when.

The underground is waiting.

Don Gas

Andrés Nylandor

Nylandor Chemical

Don Gas doesn’t fight wars.

He sells them.

Owner of Nylandor Chemical, he built a fortune supplying weapons, compounds, and experimental toxins to anyone willing to pay.

Years ago, he survived something that should have killed him.

Now he studies the infection spreading through the tunnels with disturbing curiosity.

Because Don Gas understands something most criminals don’t.

Every disaster is also an opportunity.
