ADMIRALTY PRESS
The Official Record of Rock Town
It was Captain James Cook who first warned the Coin Master that wealth without record would vanish like a ship without chart.
He sailed beyond Rock Town, gathering ledgers, logs, contracts, and lost accounts from across the world.
What he returned with became the foundation of the Grand Record—a system by which every coin, every bond, and every issued volume would be known, measured, and remembered.
From that day forward, nothing held value unless it could be recorded.
EAT THE ROOKIES
Novel
Detective Angus MacKinnon never talks about his cases.
Not the trucks that vanish on empty back roads.
Not the bodies that disappear without explanation.
And certainly not the strange incidents in the forests and along the coast.
Because for generations, a small number of police officers have known the truth.
Beneath Nova Scotia lies a hidden city called Rock Town.
A place where monsters run businesses, ancient laws govern the fate of the dead, and the most valuable currency in the world is a soul forged into coin.
At the center of it all sits The Coin Master, ruler of the soul-mint and the wealthiest power in the demon world.
For centuries his rule was enforced by a terrifying creation known as The Chain God, a being forged to keep the monsters in line.
Until the Coin Master betrayed him.
Buried beneath a forgotten quarry, the Chain God was meant to remain sealed forever.
In his absence, the Coin Master granted a fragment of that power to a new enforcer.
Krampus the Chain Devil — the feared Highway Demon of Nova Scotia.
But chains do not hold forever.
Now the Chain God has escaped.
Old enemies are stirring.
The Pit Queen is ready and waiting with her crawling Pit Eaters.
Industrial monsters like Propane Jack and Powerline are fighting to expand their grip on the surface world.
In the pubs of Nova Scotia, The Black Fiddler is preparing for war.
And somewhere along the rocky shores of Cape Breton, Captain Kidd is quietly loading the cannons of the Hell’s Purse.
Caught in the middle of it all are two police officers who just wanted a quiet posting.
Instead they’ve discovered a secret older than the province itself.
Because if the chains that hold the province together finally break…the monsters won’t stay underground.
And the new recruit is about to learn why the first rule of Rock Town is:
Eat the Rookies.

Hidden deep within the Bindery District, the Mapmakers Guild charts the world beyond Rock Town.
Every trade route, pirate lane, and forbidden passage begins here — drawn in ink, sealed in secrecy, and sold to those willing to pay.
Some maps guide ships.
Others guide fortunes.
And a few… lead somewhere they were never meant to go.
We are currently preparing our first series of charts.
These charts have changed hands more than once.
Originally commissioned under the authority of the Dead Crown, they were held as restricted intelligence documenting irregularities in trade routes, treasury networks, and unexplained losses.
They were later stolen by the Old Company during its expansion, where they were studied, altered, and partially redacted.
After the fall of Company operations, the records disappeared again.
At some point, they surfaced in the Rock Town markets — damaged, incomplete, and heavily marked.
They have since been recovered and restored.
Across the pages, routes terminate without cause.
Treasury sites are removed from record.
Entire locations are marked with a single designation:
SOULREAVER.
Each chart includes a unique marbled pattern representing Soulreaver interference.
No two charts are identical.
The marbling reflects:
• distortion
• interruption
• loss of structure
In-world, these markings resemble the corruption found on original records affected by Soulreaver events.
Dead Crown Edition Includes:
• 1 Stolen Soulreaver Chart
• Soulreaver Marbling (unique pattern)
• Dead Crown classification marks
• archival-style print
• stamped number: “No. 023 / 250"
